This project is a methanol pyrolysis hydrogen production plant of Five-Heng Chemical Company. It adopts advanced methanol steam reforming technology combined with pressure swing adsorption purification process to provide high-purity hydrogen for chemical production. The designed processing capacity of the plant is 4,500 Nm³/h, with a daily methanol processing volume of approximately 90 tons and a daily hydrogen production of 108,000 Nm³. The methanol pyrolysis unit adopts an isothermal reactor design, with the reaction temperature controlled at 250-280℃ and pressure ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 MPa, ensuring a methanol conversion rate of over 99%. The PSA purification unit adopts an eight-tower configuration, with the product hydrogen purity reaching 99.999%, meeting the requirements for hydrogen quality in high-end chemical production. The on-site installation period is 4.5 months, using a modular design. The main equipment is assembled and tested in the factory, reducing the on-site construction workload by 60%. Since its commissioning, this plant has operated stably, with energy consumption indicators superior to the design values, providing an economical and reliable hydrogen supply solution for Five-Heng Chemical.
